Set your availability
Set the recurring hours, duration and timezone Finlay may offer for interviews, and keep them clear of commitments Finlay cannot see.
Set availability before candidates reach interview scheduling. These recurring hours are for scheduled interviews, separate from a pre-screen.
Set these scheduling defaults:
- a default interview length: 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes
- a timezone, chosen from a searchable list that includes UTC
- the Weekly hours Finlay books inside, every week
Finlay cannot see your calendar. Include only times you can reliably take an interview, and update this schedule before holidays or other changes. These settings provide Finlay’s default recurring windows, timezone and duration.

Set your weekly hours
Section titled “Set your weekly hours”Use separate windows for breaks, for example 09:00–12:00 and 13:00–17:00. Windows cannot overlap and a day with no window is unavailable.
Saving
Section titled “Saving”Every change saves the whole week. Fix these conflicts before the schedule can be saved:
- a window that ends before it starts
- two windows that overlap
- a day that is switched on with no window
Interview length and timezone changes also wait until the week is valid.
