# Plans and limits

What Free, Finlay Source and Finlay Managed include, how usage is counted, and what happens when you reach a limit.

## The plans

**Finlay Managed** is arranged with Finlay's sales team, and Finlay recruiters
run your jobs. Billing shows its usage, and any limit it does not have shows
as **Unlimited**. See [Managed workspaces](https://help.finlay.ai/billing/managed-workspaces/).

New self-service accounts normally start on **Free**, without a credit card or
trial expiry. If you joined through a trial invitation link, you get one month
of **Finlay Source** without entering a card, and then continue on Free unless
you upgrade.

## Free

On Free, Finlay sources up to 10 candidates for you to review. It does not
automatically shortlist, contact, screen or advance them.

- **One active job.** Pause or close it before activating another. Draft jobs
  do not use the slot.
- **10 unique sourced candidates per company, for the lifetime of the
  account.** Rerunning sourcing, replacing jobs and deleting candidates do not
  reset the allowance.

Billing.

## How usage is counted

- **Workspace seats:** workspace members count. Candidates and pending
  invitations do not.
- **Screening calls:** a call uses its allowance when it is authorized, not
  when it finishes. Microphone permission is requested first. A later
  connection failure still uses that authorization.

## When you reach a limit

When your plan's sourced-candidate allowance is used up, the Jobs page and
each job's **Candidates** tab show a notice. Candidates you already have stay
in your pipeline.

- Monthly allowances reset each calendar month. Upgrade to continue sooner.
- The Free allowance does not reset. Upgrade to add more candidates.
